From Atlanta:
Traveling from downtown Atlanta, proceed North on Interstate 75. Merge into I-575 North and travel through Cherokee County and to Pickens County (at this point the Highway Number changes to Highway 515). Continue north on Highway 515 until you arrive at the third traffic light which is Highway 53 (Ingles, Pizza Hut, & McDonalds on right). Turn right onto Highway 53 (West Church Street). From this point, travel to the third traffic light, and you will see First Baptist Church on the right, just beyond Rite Aid.
From Ellijay:
Proceed on Hwy 515 South to Jasper exit (Home Depot and Kroger on the right). Turn left on Hwy 53 (Church Street). From this point, travel to the third traffic light, and you will see First Baptist Church on the right, just beyond Rite Aid.
WELCOME CENTER LOCATION
The Welcome Center is located on the lower level of the church. Access by car is from the rear parking lot at the portico. From the lower-level elevator lobby, go through the double doors on the right-hand side of the building into the Welcome Center.
Access from the sanctuary can be gained from the elevator lobby in the front of the sanctuary. From the front of the sanctuary, exit through the double doors on the organ side into the elevator lobby. Take the elevator or the stairs to your right down to the lower level of the church.
